Sharni Vison, an Australian American dancer/actor, was born on July 22, 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was part of two episodes on the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Her role was selected to play the main character in the soap opera in Australia Home and Away because her performance in this limited part was so captivating that the casting agents wanted to cast her in other parts. However, she did submit an try out for the role, but was not selected instead on the same show, she played the role of Cassie Turner, the troubled teenage girl who was being looked after by foster parents.
