Luciana Paoluzzi, as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the child of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). It is not known if she had having siblings. Luciana is the only female who has graduated from her high school class in Milan. Luciana also studied nautical engineering there. Following two years of modeling, she got an appearance in Three Coins in the Fountain. The film was her debut. Her first husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. After the wedding in 1960 they made a movie together called Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana received custody after the couple split a few years after Charles was born. Between 1962 and 1970, Luciana was with Tony Athony, an actor and producer who was greatly influenced by her performance in the movie Green Slime and based on that he wrote and produced his own mix Spaghetti Western for which he was a bit of a hit.
